Faculty Advisor

Dr. Aalok Thakkar

Assistant Professor of Computer Science

Dr. Aalok Thakkar serves as a Faculty Advisor for the Ashoka Tech Consulting Group (ATCG). As an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Ashoka University, he brings cutting-edge expertise in artificial intelligence and formal methods to guide ATCG's technical initiatives. His research specializes in the integration of formal methods and AI, with particular focus on programming-by-examples for relational queries and smart contract verification. Having earned his PhD in Computer and Information Science from the University of Pennsylvania in 2023 and worked with Movement Labs and Aptos Labs, Dr. Thakkar's combination of academic research (published in prestigious conferences like VLDB, SPLASH, and PLDI) and industry experience provides ATCG members with invaluable guidance at the intersection of theoretical computer science and practical applications.
